The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 6AM for Habersham, Rabun, White, Lumpkin, Towns, Union, Fannin and Gilmer Counties.
Damaging winds up to 70MPH and large hail up to 2″ are possible along with an isolated tornado.
The line of storms should arrive locally in the 4-6AM time.
