The Piedmont College Department of Athletics has released its Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the spring semester of 2017 with nearly 150 student-athletes earning the distinction.
Spots on the Honor Roll go to student-athletes who carried a GPA of 3.40 or better this past spring semester.
“As Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, I’m very proud to announce this listing with so many of our student-athletes honored,” said Jim Peeples of the spring listing. “These student-athletes embody what Division III athletics is all about, and we are pleased to have such outstanding members of our teams honored this way.”
Additionally, 58 student-athletes maintained at least a 4.0 GPA for the semester. The mark is the fifth straight semester that at least 30 student-athletes have maintained a 4.0 GPA for the semester.
