The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for extreme Northeast Georgia from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Temperatures as low as 35 degrees will result in frost formation, forecasters say.
The advisory area includes Elbert, Franklin, Habersham, Hart, Rabun, and Stephens counties, as well as Piedmont and western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
