(Cleveland)- Two white county boys escaped injury Monday evening after they climbed up a tree and got scared. Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said the incident happened around 7:15 PM on Driskell Road, south of Cleveland. Pruitt said, the youth, ages 6 and 10, had climbed 20-25 feet up a tree at their home and became frightened.

The boys began screaming which alerted their parents who then call 9-1-1.

A fireman climbed up and helped one of the youth down, the other was so high up the tree Pruitt said they used a ladder truck to reach him and help him down.

Pruitt said, the parent will have the lower limbs on the tree cut to prevent the incident happening again.
