Another day of dry weather will increase the danger of outdoor burning Monday across North and Central Georgia.
Low relative humidity values are expected with minimum values in the 20 to 25 percent range. Winds will be from the northeast, moving to the southeast, at 5 mph. These conditions will combine with dry brush, grass, and other fuels to increase the risk of wildfires.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities before doing any outdoor burning. If you do burn, use extreme caution as fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
