Scattered light snow showers are expected to develop through the early overnight period in some parts of North Georgia. Snowfall amounts will be light, however, some roadways could become slick with compacted snow.
Later tonight, some areas of freezing fog could develop in the mountain valleys, which could also lead to slippery spots and patchy black ice on untreated roads.
